On Oct 6, 2006 Leah became an American citizen as we touched down at JFK. I was finally able to allow myself to believe I had a daughter. After all we had experienced on this journey I will never forget this memorable day. These photos show what the difference a year made in the life of our beautiful daughter.

Ah the blow dryer and curling iron

I did learn hair in the mouth is uchy. Now the finishing touches. Blow dry and curling iron. Not that I need more curls but this is really fun.

 
 
 
 

Almost done!!!!

Ms Laura is so nice. She tells me everything that she is doing and lets me hold the snippings. I wonder why Mom is putting some in a little baggie.

 
 
 
 

Am I done yet MOM

I am sitting as still as I can. Ms Laura also gives rides with her magic chair. I could get used to this treatment I think. I have bangs now. Whoo Whoo!!!!!
