We want to begin this blog for many reasons. It serves notice that the paper chase of international adoption, for us is complete. Our dossier( the numerous required documents) has been completed, notarized, apostilled and translated. We have dotted every I and crossed every T. Our agency AIP http://adoptioninternationalprogram.com/ has submitted our dossier to the Consulate of Kazakhstan in NYC on March 24, 2006.
In preparation for our adoption, we read many blogs of those who have gone before us and found comfort and hope in the experiences that have been shared. Therefore we share our adoption story with our family,friends, co-workers and anyone else who has taken, or is contemplating taking this "leap of faith" and opened their hearts to that of an innocent child.

First of all,congratulations on the adoption of your daughter Leah. What a beautiful baby girl, and happiness & joy just radiate from her eyes and smile. We were so happy to have found your blog today from another adoptive blog. I was curious that you may have adopted from AIP, and now see that this is the case. We live nearby you and would very much like to communicate with you regarding your wonderful experience, and to what to expect. We are awaiting our LOI so naturally we are getting excited.
