Big Brother

This is our son Christopher. The love of our life. He is very excited about having a baby sister.

Our dossier has made it to Kazakhstan. Praise God! Now we wait for the letter of invitation to travel. AIP has told us we will probably travel in July. So now we hurry up and wait.

We want to begin this blog for many reasons. It serves notice that the paper chase of international adoption, for us is complete. Our dossier( the numerous required documents) has been completed, notarized, apostilled and translated. We have dotted every I and crossed every T. Our agency AIP http://adoptioninternationalprogram.com/ has submitted our dossier to the Consulate of Kazakhstan in NYC on March 24, 2006.
In preparation for our adoption, we read many blogs of those who have gone before us and found comfort and hope in the experiences that have been shared. Therefore we share our adoption story with our family,friends, co-workers and anyone else who has taken, or is contemplating taking this "leap of faith" and opened their hearts to that of an innocent child.
