Until We Meet Again

Our Children Christopher and Leah

Tonight as we brought Leah back to her caregivers a silence came upon us. Each one of us told her we love her and prayed to God to keep her safe. We leave Kazakhstan a family who experienced great joy in the 23 days we spent on our adoption journey. The miracle we have been granted is awesome. We have all learned so much about life, love, faith and hope on this journey. As we left the Hope Room Leah reached out her hand to us and we will never forget the smile on her face. Of course we could not get out of the room without tears and I think when the caregivers saw Leah's brother in tears they too became emotional. They assured us they would explain to her every day where we are and that we will we back soon. We left a photo album of pictures of us together as a family in the play ground area at the baby house to show her in our absence.
In our hearts we know Leah is in the care of angles who love her. So again in faith we leave Kazakhstan in the morning for our return home. This photo was taken today not long before we said ALOHA to Leah which means UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN........ Posted by Picasa

Hi

I am not familar with Khaz adoption procedure. If she is yours, why do you have to leave her there. Did I read wrong? Did you just recently have court? or referral? or am I just really confused? (Probably the latter.)

Thanks,

Suzanne

Ann your aloha to Leah was elegant, emotional ,packed with LOVE Faith,Trust and hope for your family.I was with a patient today and on his wall was a Plaque which read GOD GIVES THE BEST TO THOSE WHO LEAVE THE CHOICE TO HIM.I could not help but think about you and Michele and all the others who originally thought that the baby they would get was not to be theirs for one reason or another, and no doubt they certainely would have loved that child, but I am sure all of you know that you got GODS, CHOICE FOR YOU . The best to all of you you are all very special people full of the Love of Jesus unconditional love your arms wide open to love that child you loved from the moment you saw them GOD bLESS LOVE MOM

The day we left our children was extremely difficult as well. There were so many thoughts going through my heard, and so many emotions. I just kept reminding myself that we were just another day closer to forever.

God is good.
Love,
The Sapp Family
